aka a rambling speech from me, myself, and I about summer things before school starts next week and I forget.
First and foremost, I realize I haven't been terribly active and I apologize for that. I'd tell you there's more stuff up on my art tumblr
but that would be a lie. There are a few sketches, at best, but no real finished work. This hasn't been the most productive summer and I wish it had been. Sleep schedule has been wrecked and reset too many times this summer and it didn't help having such little energy for so long. Gym trips barely helped.
Onto my next point, the "surprise" dual-project I was hoping to announce and launch before September rolled around. Suffice to say, it won't be happening. At least not yet. I was hoping to have everything ready by now but, as stated above, it's been hard to get much done these past few months. I can't even guarantee it during the semester since I'll be taking one of the tougher classes this year: Color Theory. How difficult, you ask? Let me put it this way, if I don't pass this class there's no point in being a BFA of Fine Arts instead of a BA. No BFA status means no BFA show which means not having my ideas on display in a professional/official capacity. It'd be a step down to say the least.
Last but not least, the FFH2 updates. Sadly, the full story will not be done by the time school rolls around. I'm currently only in the middle of chapter 17 and there are still a few chapters left. That said though, considering I was at chapter 5 by the end of last semester and got 10+ chapters done in 3 months is still an accomplishment. It'll still be a looooong while before it sees the light of day in any finished form, it's closer than it's ever been before. It'll still be worked on this semester and, hopefully, by the time Christmas rolls around I'll have started typing it up already. In the meanwhile, I will be doing my best to update/finish the FFH chapter illustrations. I've already updated the disclaimer
with the new celtic knot circle design. Hope you guys like it as much as I do.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and hope your summer went well at least.
