Realized just right this moment I'll have to rewrite the current page or three of what I've written because I forgot to add in a major part/interaction and there's no way in Hell I'm keeping it to the side hoping I'll remember to add it in later because WE ALL KNOW ME AT THIS POINT I'LL FORGET ABOUT IT AND LET IT FALL INTO OBLIVION WOULD ALSO LIKE TO ANNOUNCE: I MAY BE RUNNING OUT OF STEAM WHEN IT COMES TO WORLD BUILDING TIDBITS AND I STILL HAVE NO UNSPOILERY QUOTES JUST YET SO IF YOU WANT A QUESTION ANSWERED OR HAVE A MINI-REQUEST I AM MORE THAN HAPPY TO OBLIGE AT THIS POINT DON'T HOLD BACK ANY QUESTIONS/REQUESTS World-building Tidbits:
Not every Arcadi is expected to enter into politics nor are they all considered Lords/Ladies. Only those who are currently ruling as part of the Main Branch and their children are given those titles.
Example: Agatha Arcadi (CLM's great-grandmother) wasn't considered a Lady until her cousin named her his successor as the next High Lady. Her children were then considered Ladies/Lords afterwards.
Imelda and Cuculhain (CLM's aunt and father) are both considered a Lady and a Lord, but Imelda's children do not inherit the title since Cuculhain became the next High Lord.
Liam's children do not inherit any titles, but have a chance should anything happen to Colm. Colm has named Liam his successor in his will, so if Colm should die before he has any heirs, the Three Es will become a Lord and Ladies. (Colm had to make a will shortly after taking office, and picked Liam mainly because he already had an heir...or at least one on the way. I really need to set times down for all this.)
While there are a few Arcadis as magistrates of villages/towns/cities, many more lead their own lives outside of politics. An Arcadi family reunion would probably take up a lot of time and space just to get everyone together.
